RTT is a comprehensive therapy created by world-renowned therapist Marisa Peer which combines some of the best principles of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and NLP. The sessions are performed in Hypnosis which provide deep, powerful understanding with most clients seeing results in one to three sessions.
Hypnosis is a relaxed state similar to the feeling when you wake up in the morning or just before you fall asleep. We experience this state many times during the day such as when you drive home from somewhere and you don't recall the trip or when you are deeply engrossed in watching a movie.
Each Rapid Transformational Therapy session lasts between 90 minutes to 2 hours. For that reason, we ask you block off a full 2 hours in your calendar to make sure you're not rushed.
The session begins with me guiding you into a relaxed state of hypnosis. In this relaxed state with access to your subconscious mind, we review pivotal moments from your life which explain the underlying beliefs which are contributing to your current problem or issue. After working together to understand these underlying beliefs, we then collaborate towards new helpful, supportive beliefs that reflect your life now and how you want to feel. You leave the session with a personalized recording to listen to for at least 21 days.
The experience feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Others may feel sleepy, some do not. Most people feel relaxed and at ease. What's most important is to know that how you feel isn't an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like - it's working, I promise.
No! That's an old wive's tale. You have complete control the whole time. You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, even get up and leave (I've had clients who had to stop to pee before!). If our call gets disconnected you may drift to sleep if you're really relaxed, but eventually you'll notice that you're not hearing my voice and open your eyes.
What makes RTT amazing is that even if you think you know the reason, you see it in a completely new way. That's what allows you to change the meaning and ultimately, change your beliefs. And for many clients they go back pivotal moments that are totally different than what they expected. Just relax and trust that your subconscious mind will show you exactly what you need to see.
RTT is designed to give you a powerful breakthrough and create big changes in your life. Some clients may need more than one RTT session on a particular issue. Most want to keep doing sessions to work on other areas of their life and receive coaching to integrate the new beliefs and build new habits and behaviors.
